today i bought lavendar uggs.

i deserve to be shot.

not only do i LOATHE uggs, but purple - of ANY sort - is my most hated colour of all time (well, except for forest green & maroon. okay, so all members of the purple family are third on the most hated colours list).

but for some reason they were calling to me, and my god! they look so fucking cute at the end of my legs.

damn it.

i'm so happy that i don't have to go to work tomorrow. i'm leaving for kentucky bright & early. i'm so looking forward to this trip. things here are out of control.

work is busy as hell. they might be sending me to new york for a couple days to get some CAD training. i know how to do all that stuff in illustrator & whatever, but this is a system concentrated completely on apparel. it's also the system that everyone uses, so it would be fucking kick ass if i got FREE training (well, free for me, expensive for my boss). this will be fantastic on my resume, AND i'll get a free trip to new york. woohoo!

something funny happened today while i was at work. i got this call from some woman answering an ad for a personal shopper. i had no idea what the hell she was talking about, so i put her on hold to ask s & s if they knew about it. no one had a clue, so i got back on, and asked who listed the ad, and she said, "i don't know. there was the ad for a personal shopper, and it said to contact sarah m***** at this number." so i stood there for a second trying to think if i had placed an ad for a personal shopper - knowing very well that i've never placed an ad for ANYTHING, and that of all ads i could possibly place, seeking a personal shopper would not be one of them.

so this woman had me thinking i was CRAZY, thinking that i'd placed an ad unknowingly, and then after much silence, she goes, "sarah? this is bethany."

my darling little sister.

that little shit.

i can't wait until this weekend.

p.s. i dunno about this new interpol album.
