i'm so glad it's fall.

i love crisp weather, and i'm really excited because tonite when we go out, i actually get to wear my new(ish) maroon jacket with the super high neck.

fall and winter clothes are the best. i can't wait to wear scarves again.

i walked all the way to wicker park from my apartment today to visit c. it was a two hour walk, and it was glorious.

my ass will thank me someday.

it was also good to go because things with us have been weird, and i was beginning to slip into that, "i can just sort of slowly disappear, and our friendship can just fade out. it'll be easy!"

i was kind of dreading going over there today, but we had to give eachother some shit back. it was actually good. we sat around for a couple hours talking, and as i walked to the bus stop after, i decided to stop being an asshole, and start hanging out with my friends more often.

oh! i was so amused on the bus. this chick got on wearing all these stupid patches safety pinned to her sweatshirt. one of them said, "i'm a wreck." and there was another, possibly the one that caused me to dislike her instantly, of an anarchy symbol. seriously, folks. when are we going to get over that? i have a friend who just finished dating this dude - 28 years old, he is - who constantly talked about anarchy, and the "establishment", and, best of all, the motherfucking man.

do some people just stay 16 forever?

anyway... back to this girl. so she was all done up to look like she'd just been hanging out in the gutter, and that she hated you, and would kick yr ass in a second, and then her cell phone rang. i don't know if that's funny to anyone else, but i was really amused to see this "XHARDCOREX" girl gabbing on her cell phone with her anarchy patch, fucked up hair, and holey pants.

i'm really glad i'm not a kid anymore.

i started "reading" america by andy warhol last nite. i always love reading things he wrote as opposed to things that were written about him.

it makes me hate him more.

cause when someone else writes about him, their feelings, positive or negative, are evident. but when he's writing, that's what you're getting. him.

it's funny how i both love and loathe him.

i think he was fucking brilliant, especially in the art of captivating people, and yeah, he was talented, but god, when you read things he wrote.

it really kind of makes you wanna punch him.
